The Durango Public Library is the first U.S. Green Building Council LEED Gold Certified library in Southwestern CO. The library wanted to highlight the environmental, community and educational features of the new facility.
We worked with the library director and staff, architect, consultants, and contractors to develop a strategy that would allow the library to showcase the sustainability, community and educational features of the new facility as well as educate residents about the benefits of green building.
The solution includes a book, flyer, and sustainability website to showcase the key elements of the library and teach the community about the facility. Residents now have the opportunity to check out the book or visit the website to learn more.
